Schoolism Course: Painting with Light and Color Course
Lesson: 5 - Color Study Goal: Keep improving color relationships through observation
What I’ve Learned:
1 - Some materials with handdrawn texture painting in real life become very though to translate into a painting, especially if part of the texture has the same color of the light.
2 - I need to learn how to stage my pictures better. I was a bit lazy and relied a lot on what I was able to put together quickly. The final results are sometimes better than other
3 - I actually enjoy putting handwritten fonts into my paintings, it make them feel more whimsical
4 - Direct light always brings out more color and saturation and nuances from the starting local colors
5 - I need to find a better solution to indicate very grainy materials
Additional Notes: Plants are still a nightmare
